As we are now on the verge of one of the most fundamentally disruptive revolutions in music, we keep seeing developments in programs and codes that can generate music and sound combinations on their own. While some may see this as opening a Pandora’s box, it’s important to remember that the fear of computerized music began over half a century ago, and instead of a dystopian outcome, we have seen a tremendous democratization of the music industry, making it more accessible to small artists and producers. The cost to record and distribute music has drastically decreased, resulting in a more diverse and accessible music landscape. That’s why we see the A.I. revolution as the next logical step in this democratization and believe that we should encourage individuals, especially neophytes, to experiment with music creation through the services described on this website.
